Twelve South StayGo Mini Hub

Twelve South StayGo Mini Hub

A compact hub for your travels

Twelve South’s latest hub is a miniaturized version of its existing StayGo USB–C hub. They share the same sort of style, but the Stay Go Mini is a fraction of the size, and weighs next to nothing. It'll easily fit in a small pocket.

The major differentiator between the two (as well as most other hubs), however, is that it's designed specifically for the iPad Pro. A built–in USB–C connector on one side of the device allows it to be plugged straight into an iPad Pro, the body sitting flush with the bottom edge of the iPad. As the connector is integrated, there are no extra cables to carry, though the Mini comes with a lengthy MacBook adapter.

On the opposie side of the USB-C connector there's a decent array of ports, given the Mini's size, including a USB-C PD port for charging, HDMI for hooking up an external display, USB-A, and a headphone out. A couple of downsides - the HDMI port only outputs 4K at 30Hz, and the USB-A port is a lowly 2.0 standard. By comparison, Satechi's identically-priced Mobile Pro Hub, though slightly larger, features 4K at 60Hz and a USB 3.0 port.
