iFi Go Blu – Super light DAC with super sound

The tiny Go Blu only weighs .95 oz, but it’s one of the most versatile DACs around. Its USB–C interface lets you connect any Mac or iPad that has USB–C, and there’s a USB–A adaptor for older Macs too. Most DACs do need an adaptor for iPhones and iPads that have Lightning, but the Go Blu can work with Bluetooth as well, so that you’ve got a quick connection option, though you won’t get the full hi–res effect. It even has an Apple–style “digital crown” for volume and playback control.

There are 3.5mm and 4.4mm headphone connectors and the Go Blu’s excellent sound quality is backed up by a powerful amplifier, making it a good option for use with external speakers too. And, with an eight–hour rechargeable battery, the Go Blu is a terrific little all–round audio upgrade.
